I want a new digital camera. I don't need one, but I want one. My current one works well, is compact and takes good pictures, but it does tend to get a wee bit noisy if the conditions aren't perfect.

My wrists seem to be on the mend, which is nice, but I'm all too aware that it's at a very delicate stage of healing, which could go either way. Either it gets better and never happens again, or it gets twice as bad and ends up needing surgery. Knowing my luck, it'll probably be the latter.

Also, work this one out, if you can: I'm an atheistic pagan, who is predominantly left-handed, but due to society being mostly right-handed, has been forced to be ambidextrous. I also believe that Jesus existed, but wasn't the Son of God. My mind is confuseding.

It all makes perfect sense to me. Is that good or bad? And what does it mean since I had to ask?
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.

I checked and four of my friend's have also received low votes. Anyone else noticing this at all?

Everyone should be informed on their timeline whenever someone votes on a story. It should be easy to tell who is giving you a low score. If someone is doing that, consistently, inform the admins and they can do something about it.

Yes, and I'll add to that - there is a low-voter catching default system in place here, and someone who consistently dishes out low scores in a short time period, automatically has his or her voting ability suspended. Still, people find ways to get around that, it seems.

Also, there is a built in time delay before you can vote again on a story or poem. I found that out accidentally, having read and voted on something, then read another text, very quickly. I received a pop-up notice informing me that since I had just voted on a story, I couldn't vote on another one for ten minutes or so. I guess it's to deter the serial low-scorers, I have no idea if it is effective or not.

But as Larry said, check your timeline.

It won't let be go back that far, probably because I been away for a while. Each time I hit the more button it says no more can be loaded into the time line.

Keep screaming until they hear you. Keep screaming until your voice breaks and reduces down to a hoarse whisper. Keep the screaming because it is worth losing your voice for. And even if they don't hear you screaming anymore they'll listen to your silence.
