Buddy Guy : First Time I Met The Blues

There is nothing like the blues. Good one Alan. Buddy is classic.
lt"I see o' night among the wins
The Devil walking widdershins
As stoney silent as the Sphinx
I sit upon the sandy links
And listen to the glittering spell
Of Asmodee, the Goat of Hell
"The Devil's Conversion" from the book "Konx Om Pax" by Aliester Crowley.

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to see him and Junior back in the 80's at a small club in New York City...Buddy had a long guitar cord which he used to walk around the place, at one point going outside and playing on the sidewalk for a few minutes or so...great show btw...

This might be of interest to some friends here...this is alternative footage of The Band's last concert...if you're familiar with the movie The Last Waltz, which came out when I was in high school back in '78...you might find this of interest...it's in three parts on YouTube btw...

Good choice Gypsy.. Vee I couldn't get yours to open...

How about this one...

Three more great choices.

Larry, since you've been asking about colours of the rainbow, this one fits in with that question.

I think...

Oh yes.. I so love his rendition.. so sad to lose his voice... Like this?

Love that one!

Roy Orbison was one of the greatest ever. He's often played during long road trips, just seems so appropriate, KWIM?
