Recipe category

I've already brought this up with admin, but thought I'd get some feedback from the general populace. I was talking to a friend and we hit upon the idea of a recipe category, we thought, seeing as there are a lot of cooks/bakers here it'd be a good idea. So what say you? Is it a good idea? If not a recipe category, how about a forum topic?

Ghosts, flamingos, guitars and vodka. Eclectic subjects, eccentric stories:

A flash fiction series :) A Random Moment in Time

We had discussed this, as it had come up before, and it was decided that a recipe category is not a good idea, since it's not really creative writing which is what the site is about...it would be different if the recipe is part of a larger story, and then it would go in whatever category the story itself best fit...

You could feel free to start a forum topic though...the Break Room would probably be your best bet...

I once knew a drinker who had a moderating problem...

Well, actually there are some really creative recipes (I have a couple myself), and it might be fun. So, why not give it a shot ???

a forum posting for recipes and food related questions could be great fun. I have a lot of recipes I could share and would love to learn new ones as well.

If there's enough interest in a new forum dedicated to food/drink or recipes, I'm happy to add one. There's a thread somewhere but they tend to get a bit lost among the other threads. A forum would be a nice idea.
