I know we say this often, but the talent on this site is outstanding and I am honored to be among you all. For anyone that hasn't read these stories, please take a moment to do so, you will not be disappointed.

Congratulations again to the winners, I'll be in touch soon regarding your prizes!

First of all, congrats to everyone for writing such creative stories! Truly talented peeps, y'all are. 😊

And congrats Verbal and TheShyThespian for top 2 spots. I had y'all battling it out for 1 and 2. Jason's on an adventure and offline, but should be back tmrw. He will be "chuffed". 😀

And I'm very surprised at my placement. 😊Thank you!

Thanks to Molly, mods, judges. It's an honor to publish among you all! ❤️

Congratulations to the top three. It actually matches my picks almost perfectly. Maybe I should be a judge. 😉(yeah right, no one in their right mind wants that 🙄😳).

And congrats to the rest of the list. Wish we'd had more stories but it is a wonderful collection of monstrous mythical tales. From revisiting classics like Beowulf to modern monsters like possessed wind turbines, there's some quite original thinking in here.

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

Congratulations to the top 3! Well chosen indeed! These stories were outstanding.

While my story wasn’t much of a monster tale, I’m grateful that it seemed to be well received. The best part of a small comp is that we all placed in the top ten! Gotta love that!

Thanks, Bear, for insisting that I enter. I had fun writing my story and I appreciate those of you who read and commented on it.

Thanks, Molly, for encouraging authors with fun competitions! I look forward to the next one.

That was a great comp! Congrats to everyone who won, and everyone who entered, and anyone who has the courage to put words to paper and let others read them. It’s a creative leap of faith, and deserves celebration.

Might want to update your sig, eh, now that you have a new win under your belt.😉

Well done all competitors. Being a non competitor in this one I was able to stand back and admire the over-all standard of brilliance. Congratulations too to the judges for a good job on what must have been a tough task.

The winning story was excellent.

Congratulations, Verbal and WriterGirl! I have to say I'm chuffed to be on the podium with you both. Well done, also, to all who entered. And as Verbal rightly points out, especially to those who have not entered before - it can take courage to write a story and enter it into a competition, especially when so many of the entrants have been on the podium in previous competitions - a talented field for sure!

Thank you so much to Molly and the unnamed others who organised, read, voted and judged in this competition. It wouldn't happen without your hugely appreciated efforts!!
