We are going out to eat with my daughter tonight, and at her request, we are going to (arg!) Chili's. Parenting tip: if you never let your kids eat at fast food or chain restaurants, they will grow up to crave those places the rest of their lives.    

Honey garlic spare ribs and whatever veggie my wife decides to stir-fry to go with it.

Sweet and sour pork ribs.

Beef stew  is the plan since it's a rainy day

Today I'm fixing southern. 

Corn on cob. Okra, stewed potatoes,meat loaf,green beans. Tomatoes and corn bread.ice tea

Most  vegs fresh out of the garden.

Coffee and chocolate cake.

We made a jambalaya, so kind of Southern as well (though we have our spin on it).

Korean sticky ribs with stir-fried bell peppers, onions, carrots over steamed white rice and sweet and sour sauce. 

Grilled chicken breast w/ carmalized pearl onions, baby carrots and smashed potatoes.

Spaghetti with our own house sauce.

Belly pork strips with roast potatoes.

As the rotisserie turns it bastes the potatoes with the fat dripping from the pork. Beautiful!

Roasted Chicken with red potatoes and fresh steamed veggies.

Ribs with triangle tofu (basically a stew but drier) and stir-fried yu choy with shitake mushrooms.

Chicken and vegetables with rice noodles

Chili. It will be perfect for this windy day.

Homemade chicken nuggets

Vegetable beef stew. It's in the crockpot now and it's starting to smell amazing.

Steamed chicken breast with white cabbage, baby potatoes, and gravy made with stock from a previous roast chicken.

Beef vegetable stew with homemade crusty bread.

Chinese. Well sort of. Orange Chicken, Super Greens, Chow Mein, Fried Rice and a fortune cookie from Panda Express.

REAL Chinese.😉 Riblets with tofu and stir-fried garlic sprouts with pork.

(I married her for more than the food, but the food certainly didn't hurt)
