Red site suggested this as a place for my poems.

Do you go by the same name on the other site?
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
From a friend on the red site
Somebody on the Red site told me about this site...

I knew about Stories Space when a dear friend of mine shared it with me to read her poems. At that moment I had no account in any site so I only read her. Years later, Kiera told me about her Adventures story and I signed in. And now, here I am loving stories like The Nurses, and having new amazing friends.
Rachel (Sprite) guided me here when I tried to post a poem, 'Steps', which wasn't sexy enough for the Red site.
Thank you, Rachel. I love it here.

Through a related site. I like this one, It's so peaceful.
My brother-in-law Rolandlytle knew me back in my heavy reading days and enticed me into it.vJrfJXXrBhT3LXQy

I have always been a dabbling writer and want to do a serious digital self publish of a biographic piece I have been working some years on. I needed a "test"site where I could run some trial writing past reader/writers, an audience I consider to be the toughest one to please.

So far I am really enjoying reading as much as writing.
May your parchment be smooth, your ink never blot, and your writing never block.
A very good friend told me about this site.

Welcome to SS you cheesehead. I live just over the Illinois border in Waukegan . I hope you enjoy everything here as well as I do. The people are great.

I hope the cheesehead is not too mean.

A friend from the red side told me. Sad for me, she is no longer on either site....and she was hotstuff too😊😊😊
From the red side, I saw a friend had posted a link so after some investigation I decided to join this side.
From the Red Side. Like Laura, I followed a friend's link to here. I am amazed to see how many of my friends from the other side are here. You are all welcome to friend me.
New to Stories Space. New and old friends from the Red Side Welcome.
Several friends from the "sister" site suggested that I come here to read their stories and poems! I read them from the homepage and was very frustrated that I couldn't vote! A couple also suggested that I add my poetry here...💜🤗
A friend on the red site told me about it ... i love the site ... and have written my first poem here. Thank you to all who read it.
A friend here also is a member on another site. I followed her link. Thank you Rosepetals.
As per the lovely lady above me, I learned about it through "red" and decided to join since I do have aspirations to write non-red material

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

Also through the 'red site', had a few special people steer me this way.
Also from the red site! Found so many wonderful writers there also write here.
I thought I had heard of such sites, and after many years as a writer of other things, I finally decided to take on fiction. I wanted to find somewhere to workshop ideas and get feedback. I searched for: writers spaces and stories space came up. I didn't actually find any others.

You are certainly welcome here. Please realize that you may not actually get feedback and comments on your work unless you return the favor and do so for others. The site is not difficult to use once you have taken some time to navigate around it and see all of its features. Glad to see you here.
From the sister site of this. Published a couple stories there under a different name.
Someone on sister site told me and I was thrilled to have the diversity. Love this site.
I was in the process of trying to post Merchant Princess on the red side, and they suggested here because the violence was a little over the top. Long story short, it was too hot for here, too violent for there. I ended up making edits for both places while hashing it out, and they both ended up getting accepted.

I've built up a rather extensive notes file of stories that I think aren't well suited for over yonder, but fit here, so I hopped back into regular visits in anticipation that I'll eventually get some of them written. In the mean time, some of the categories are intriguing me, so I'm taking a crack at those with a few things.

I actually considered doing that deliberately with one of my stories (doing two version, one for each site) but never got the one for here done.

If I had to pick a favorite story of mine out of everything I've ever written, it would be Merchant Princess. So, it was worth it. I feel like it's the best representation of my work, so I like to have it available everywhere, even if in a tweaked form.
