I mounted oil lamps on the wall of my living room at my previous house. They were lovely but, sadly, they had no caps and scorched the coving so I couldn't light them. 😔

I keep some candles for power cuts, but I would use my lamps first.

There's some fancy treehouse B&Bs and such so maybe something like that. Not your garden variety backyard treehouse, though.

Yes. I've been to a couple galas and silent auctions/galas before. It's fun to spend an evening dressed up. I don't think I would enjoy going to an awards show though. Walking around, dinner, light conversation. It's nice. I wouldn't like to make it a regular thing.

Not sure I have much facility with languages anymore. I tried learning Mandarin back when I started dating my wife but it kind of fizzled and that was in my twenties.

Probably not. I'm pretty sure learning a new language is beyond my skills at this point in my life.

Maybe. There are some Olympic sports I enjoy and the opening and closing ceremonies would be wonderful to see live.

I have often thought I would, but no. One slight change would alter a whole lifetime.

No. We, as a species, don't like change. Knowing the future would in all probability increase our mental stress and fears.
