The idea sounds great, but more of a non-fiction reader than a fiction reader and fiction is the genre that makes or breaks most bookstores. So, unfortunately, no. (Plus, most successful bookstores now are more than just bookstores now, i.e. they are coffee shops, etc.)

Yes! In college I studied in the English Education Department for 1.5 years but ended up back in the English; Creative Writing Department. I shadowed a teacher for a semester in the Special Ed. Department of a local high school. I had an amazing experience. I used to want to be a teacher for the majority of my life. Anyway, yes, especially if the community was in desperate need.

Awesome! Same here. The porch was made into a small getaway with plants, hanging flowers, a couple chairs and a mini hidden bookshelf. It's great to go there at night and turn on the lights that are wrapped around the balcony. I also have a couple gardens, one is a vegetable garden. And a couple plants and flowers in my room!
Absolutely! I used to wall climb. And climb/hop the huge rocks at the beach. I love that kind of stuff.
