I'm pretty damned grateful for Aria. To have someone I love and someone who loves me back, just makes me happy. To be able to be there for her and for her to be there for me and hear her voice, makes me feel close to her. I'm grateful for that.
I'm grateful for Robert. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes I need a male friend. It's nice that he's there when I need some male company. I'm also really grateful for the black pudding supper he bought me.
I'm grateful for Jan because, on Saturday, I get to catch up with her, have a few beers and just hang out. Plus, she doesn't mind when I stay up really late to with my gorgeous wee AriaKitten, even if I do make some noise, though I try to keep it down.
I'm grateful for sleep. Without it, my raging stomach ache would have kept raging on.
I think mostly, I'm just grateful for all that I have.

Quote by Rebellious_Soul I am grateful for my crazy chaotic friends, they are certainly better then what I used to have I tell ya.
Although mine may not be as crazy and chaotic as Rebs, I am deeply grateful for genuine friends / friendships ... many of which are "computer friends". They are just as real...just as caring...just as loving as those here close by.
I am grateful for renewed friendships. So often we meet new people and old friends fade away. Then they come back and when we connect it is like they never left. It is such a good feeling and warms my heart when that happens. As snoop so articulately put it "They are just as real...jast as caring...just as loving as those close by."

I'm grateful for another day of pain. Think about it. Life is pain. We grow, learn and experience life. They can all be painful, emotionally and physically. We tend to remember the good times, but often we only have the good time because we suffered through the hard times to get there. I like the pain, it means there's more good times ahead if I just keep pushing on.
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
Today I am grateful for mfriends here and one in particular.

I am grateful that Mother Nature blessed us with some much needed rain. It may not be enough but every little bit helps with the current drought here.

Today I am grateful for making it through the weekend. I was not on a computer from Thursday until late yesterday (Monday). Today I finished a story and have two more to finish.

I'm grateful for my favourite guitar shop, Strung Out Guitars because Paula, one of their brilliant techs, got me a new nut for my guitar and some new tuning pegs, too. It was a pretty typical visit to them for me: I went to get advice about my mangled bass bridge (which I should take pictures of, because it's a pure laugh, just how mangled it really is), and came away with a reservation for a nut and tuning pegs. Oh, and I had a right good laugh, too, but that's always the case when I go there.

I'm grateful for my bed, the big softie, it's always there for me. I'd be grateful for longer arms, so that I can lie at a decent length from my laptop and type. It would be the ultimate in laziness
