Run, morning or evening. Back to eight miles a day.

(Evening walk, however, can be much more romantic!)

Clam Chowder or Vegetable beef soup?

Clam chowder. One of my favourite soups. Vegetable beef is okay, but chowder for the win.

Baked potato or fries?

Baked potato with butter and sour cream.

Crisp French Fries are OK, but most are soggy. You can keep them.

One-piece or two-piece bathing suit?

Lotion. Always worry about inhaling the spray stuff.

Gas, hybrid, or EV for your next car?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Dash - Writer's Block competition entry

Lotion. I think better protection and more resistant to being washed off in the water.

Since Meagan didn't pose a new question, I'll answer my own: Hybrid probably, but given how long it will be before I am in the market again, maybe EVs will be up a standard I can live with.

Sunday afternoon: Ballgame on the telly or get out for some fresh air?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Get out. Try to walk four miles with dog in AM and another four with dog and kids in PM. Hope to start running again. Used to do 8 miles in ~50 minutes before children. Maybe try the Marine Corps Marathon?

Running or Swimming?

Freestyle

Quiet Romantic Dinner or Noisey Club or Sports Bar?

Quiet romantic dinner. I like to be able to hear my date.

Go to a sports match or watch it on TV?

I'm winter sport and runner girl; neither interests me but if I had to choose, Tennis.

Scuba Diving or Sky Diving?

I can't swim and falling from a height would give me a heart attack, so neither in present reality. But given a choice in a reality where they were possible, scuba. Would love to explore some reefs and such.

E-bike or just rely on your own power?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Dash - Writer's Block competition entry

E-bike. More flexible.

Caribbean cruise or Mediterranean cruise?

Mediterranean. Running out of islands to visit in the Caribbean since we usually do that for our winter vacation.

Sightsee or just chill on a beach?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Sightsee. Fan of odd, off the beaten track Historical places. Museum nut which sometimes irritates husband. Besides, not a beach/sun girl. Now, in the water or on the water (boating) is different. But still sightsee.

Fried potatoes or grits for breakfast?

Neither normally, but I've had both for breakfast at times. Not that fond of grits (I try them every time I'm in the South, believe me) so potatoes.

Rock out music or chill out music?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Dash - Writer's Block competition entry

Sound of Music. One of my favorites, even if the film is something like 60 years old or so.

Large restaurant or smaller 'mom and pop' restaurant?

I've had good meals in both, but "mom and pop" are usually good for Asian fare like we usually have.

Chinese food or Indian food?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Dash - Writer's Block competition entry

Chinese food; really not a fan of curry.

E-book or Hardback Book?

Been mostly reading e-books for their better portability and the ability to adjust the font size to accomodate my crappy up close vision but going back to paper is tempting me. Tabs offer too many distractions. Maybe a dedicated e-reader?

Big birthday coming up: Make a big deal of it or celebrate quietly?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.

Dash - Writer's Block competition entry

Celebrate quietly with just husband and kids.

Ditto (answering my own since Meagananne didn't add a question)

Cake or pie?

The old bookshop owner had something special for Dave.
