This or That

Gas. I love wood but have never been especially adept, or comfortable, at handling fire.

Brick or flat (asphalt or concrete) driveway?

I love the look of brick, but it's a pain if it starts to crack in places; I will choose concrete.

Ham or prime rib for a holiday dinner?

Neither. For Thanksgiving, turkey. For Christmas, handmade meat ravioli and beef tenderloin. All traditions passed down from my Italian great-grandparents.

Tree topper: Angel or star?

Star. They put up less fuss about being tied to a tree. 😨

String up the lights yourself or get a pre-lit artificial tree?

String up the lights myself.

Small or big lights to wrap around a Christmas tree?

I prefer small lights.

Over-the-ear headphones or earbuds?

Over the ear, really, but they aren't that practical when I need mobility so I have both.

Listen to music or podcast while exercising?

Music

Exercise at home or in a gym?

Exercise by running outside. Generally, 8 miles in 50-55 minutes through varied terrain.

At home (winter), outdoors (summer). No gym.

Supermarket or farmer's market?

For quality, Farmers Market but sadly, way too expensive for general shopping.

Home-cooked ham or packet, sliced ham?

Home-Cooked always, ever. Better tasting and healthier.

Home-made ice cream or home-made pies?

Homemade pies.

Fruit pie or meat pie?

Fruit. Strawberry-Rhubarb tops the list.

Beef, Chicken, or Pork for protein?

I can take either but Beef is the more flavourful and we don't eat it much, so maybe that.

Concert or Musical?

Concert, but honestly, not a fan of crowds.

Italian or Chinese food?

Chinese food

Omelette or scrambled eggs?

Omelette. Generally not fond of eggs, and still very, very not fond of scrambled, but I have developed a taste for omelettes.

Rice or potatoes?

Rice - with gravy, depending on the protein.

Beer or wine?

Wine. Never been fond of beer even if I hit the odd one I like.

Pop or juice?

Pop, I am trying to break that habit.

Orange juice or apple juice?

Orange juice although I try a stay away from juices - loaded with sugars.
