Stories can sometimes be better, but I find that poems, with how short they are, are sharp and straight to the point so one can be as brutally honest as possible.

Erm... which of these are easier for you to write: poems or stories?

Poems.

If you can go anywhere in the world right now, regardless of money, work, school...where will you go?

That's easy: Washington, and into the loving arms of Aria, so we could cuddle forever.

Have you ever found an effective way to remove a chewed screw? Or stripped, as is the incorrect, but preferred term. Stripped suggests that the thread is stripped, I'm talking about the head.

Yes, but I'd rather not... so I shall list my third kiss: James. I suppose I've always liked older guys 'cause I was fifteen and he was 24... um. Shhh I had a rather large crush on him and he was a good friend... now he's more like an older brother. Very protective.

Hm. Same.

Er... yes... because it was in December... and will leave it at that.

How far would you go to save another?
Laughter. Laughter to blot out tears. It tends to make me look really insane...

What drives you insane?
Lurker
Hypocrites. I mean people who scold you and put you down for the same things they do all the time.

If you could have any theme song, what would it be?

Titanium by David Guetta. Good question!

Same. If you could have any theme song, what would it be?
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
I am thinking either Bad apple, or made of stone by evanescence.

What is your spirits animal?

I assume you mean my spirit animal. It is a crow.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

These days, it's sleeping. I love sleeping, but I feel slightly guilty about doing it quite so often as I do.

If you write, how many stories do you actually finish writing? (Same for readers, except swap "writing" for "reading".)

Technically I finished only one... hehehe... I should get back to working on them...

Is it wrong to feel lazy for over a month?

Only if you feel badly about it.

How do you tell a friend that you want more than just friendship?

If the friend doesn't already know then best left unsaid.. feelings are felt.. not heard..

What is the difference between just knowing someone and calling them a friend?
Dying from being impaled by needles...

What is the difference between a fear and a phobia?
Forum Facilitator
I believe the distinction is that a fear is more easily controlled than a phobia. As I understand it, a phobia is something you live with and in some cases can be part of a mental illness. I suppose to sum up, you could say that fear = fuck everything and run, but phobia = stick around and deal with it.

Okay, slightly political here, but... Do you think that Scotland should be independent from the rest of the UK?

Sure, why not. Honestly I don't know much about the topic though...I mean, I saw some movies, heard about the news, knowing Sean Connery is promoting the idea, but never looked deeper into the issue...

What's your plan for coming weekend?

Make it to Monday.

Why do so many people find it hard to help a stranger?
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
Because they are self centered and cruel. I don't have a problem with helping strangers (not meaning to gloat.) But I find it in my personal morals to do so.

Same

Maybe because they don't know if they're going to bite or not. Or it could be that from a young age, we've been told to not talk to strangers and that's the one time we actually heed that bad advice. I say bad advice because if you don't talk to strangers, how are you going to make friends? I think the overwhelming thing is laziness, actually. Laziness and greed. It's the attitude of "why should I help someone I don't know? What's in it for me?" Which is wrong; if you're gonna help someone, do it because you wanna help, not because there is a reward.

When should one use a semicolon? (;)

One should use a semicolon whenever one wishes (provided it is used correctly), pithy advice from famous writers notwithstanding. In my experience, the semicolon is a useful punctuation mark; nothing else simultaneously separates two independent clauses yet lets the reader know they're related quite as successfully as it does.

What is your definition of supercalifragilistic?

The OED defines it as 'Extraordinarily good; wonderful' as an example it has, 'a supercalifragilistic day of fun'. Is interchangeable with the word 'supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'. The original meaning from the song was, 'a word you say when you have nothing else to say', which would explain why my wife has never said it.

What is the longest word you have ever used?

Flockynockynihilipilification, which means "to render something as useless". Ironically, the word itself is pretty useless. Oh, and here's a twist on supercalifragilistic that might amuse word lovers, ad possibly the best headline I've ever read: "Super Callie go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious." Happened the next day after Inverness Caledonian Thistle beat Celtic. I think they won the FA cup, or whatnot, which was unprecedented for a wee team like ICT.

I don't like football, honest. What do you have a surprising breadth of knowledge about, despite professing to not like it?

I thought the longest word was smiles, it has a mile between the first and last letter.

I'm not lazy, but I'm too busy to get much done.

When does friendship not come first?
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
When one friendship forces you to destory another friendship. Because they are both your friends so the other should just deal with it and keep going or just leave.

When does the right thing seem like the right thing to do.
