So, this is an international forum. We all have our ways of speaking, some more local than others. How cool would it be to have a conversation with foreign people, in our own dialect, and see where it takes us? I'll start:

A'right, pal, how ye daein'?
Ghosts, flamingos, guitars and vodka. Eclectic subjects, eccentric stories:

Humorous guide & Recommended Read =^.^= How To Make a Cup of Tea
A flash fiction series :) A Random Moment in Time
Editors' Pick! :D I Am The Deep, Dark Woods
And another EP!: The Fragility of Age

Ka te pai ahu. (I am good.)

E whai koe i tetahi mahere mo te wiki? (Do you have any plans for the weekend?)
Excuse me, but I don't speak in any dialect although I am a Cockney by birth, just Received Pronunciation I'm afraid — just like the BBC used to be.
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12
Je vais aussi bien que possible, quand on pense aux circonstances actuel dans le monde. Cela ne veut pas dire que je vais bien, loin de là!!!! Merci

I'm doing as well as is possible, given the state of things in the world right now. In no measure does it mean I am doing well, far from it!!!! Thank you
I also have no particular dialect due to having no roots as such..

I wer dragged oop in't north but Oi lived I Sarffolk fer a woil.
Then oi wen' o'er to Wiltshoire.
Now ahm back oop North but on't t'other side o' Pennines, tha' kno's.
Me ole man an' 'is Missus, me Ma and Pa, were from Sarf Landon, He from Peckham and she from Fort Neef!

As a result I tend to 'ape' whoever I am talking to.
I like dialect as those who know my stories both here and on Red will know.

Just ask Cal.

The both of them above are confusing me with that Sanscrit. Otherwise, I'm fine.

That's not Sanskrit. It's Hindi.

Hallo. Ek hoop almal is goed. Groete uit 'n uiters droë, warm en baie dusty Kenia. (my Afrikaans is a bit dodgy!)

Kufanya ajabu, zaidi ya kazi na zaidi ya joto! Tafadhali tutumie baadhi mvua na hali ya hewa baridi.

(Doing wonderfully, but too much work and it's too hot! Please send us some rain and cold weather.)
