Just went for a long ass walk in the English countryside to walk out my 5K race route...I am freezing lol

When is the race, and is this your first?

End of the month and it is my first one. I've been running indoors to train but outdoors was a totally different experience. Do you run?

I feel achy because I was jumping around like a gazelle bwhahahaha okay like an extremly clumsy creature during my exercise class and pulled my back a little. It is the campest class I have ever done and we have 2 blokes who do it with us and our instructor is a bloke too. Anyways it's hilarious to see them flouncing and waving their arms around with the rest of us.
Today I am appreciative...Simple pleasures make me happy e.g a good cup of tea, a smile from a colleague, a slow munch on a packet of Beef Hula Hoops and good music

I've been married thirteen years as of today.

Where does the time go?

Congrats Lisa..that's impressive (smiles). Will you be doing anything nice which may or may not involve a dinner out and a baby sitter?

Thanks, Louise. We didn't end up going out. Our youngest is only seven weeks old and his grandparents don't want to babysit while he's still so young. Booo! Might have to have a delayed celebration in a couple of months.

Boo Hiss..ah well yeah time for him to save up and take you somewhere nice(smiles)

I use a writing notepad and a pen. Good old paper. I tend to lose expensive gadgets. It fits in my bag and goes everywhere I do...

Is it actually possible to watch TV these days without running into a reality TV show of some sort or other? I mean, you've got that rubbish called The Apprentice (I want my money back from that crappy Amstrad computer I purchased from you in the late 80s, Sugar!); Come Dine With Me (that's just the perfect opportunity to give someone food poisoning); Coach Trip (why??) - have UK TV companies lost all sense of originality?

Oh, I'm sorry - looking back at that it's clearly a rhetorical question and a smidge off topic...eeekk!!

It's okay ..it's my topic(smiles)...It's very hard to navigate through tv without coming across some kind of reality tv rubbish. I tend to buy my favourite tv shows on DVD and do weekends watching them instead. I got sucked into Come dine with me once and I told myself a few minutes later oh it's not reality tv as it has cooking in it... 20 minutes later I was riveted by some dude grilling a steak.Riveted! So I turned it off.

The mindless prattle of people whining about the paucity of Saturday night television...

This is why I don't watch reality TV..all these sad gits going on and on and on about X-factor and the dancing/singing drivel programs. And the papers and magazines are full of stories about these talentless 'sold my soul to the devil A.K.A Simon Cowell' idjits
Share...I love music , I want to hear what you are listening to?
