The site should have it's "stand-alone" page and not a close resemblance to another. That is my suggestion.
Good day all.

Coffee. Cream & Sugar. Please.

Started putting up Christmas lights yesterday. More to do today. Nope. Not a CFL fan, so Grey Cup watching on my to-do list.
Oh man, I just made my favorite meatloaf recipe and tried a new garlic potato recipe to go with it. I’m finishing the meal right now with a little orange and ginger infused dark roast coffee, enhanced with a shot of Grand Mariner, sugar, and topped with whip cream. I would have shared, but my kids devoured their dinner. Barely left overs for their school lunch tomorrow.

I wrote a wee micro-fiction story while the kids were swimming today. Hopefully, it will be posted soon.

Also, started watching Season Four of Narcos: Mexico. I just love this show. Mostly Spanish subtitles, but Netflix did a wonderful job with it. The first two seasons featured an amazing actor who played Pablo Escobar. He was a horrible person, but the actor humanized the man. Love it when performers can do that.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!
I love the site, but it seems to be fading into obscurity.

Morning, everyone! Earl Grey tea here, please!

A-lo Miss Moneypenny. Ping, James Ping. I can’t explain it. Sometimes, it just happens.
Good Morning!

It’s a chilly one this morning in Pingville. We got some rain during the day, then the temperature dropped to-15C overnight, turning the roads and sidewalks to ice. Then, Mother Nature has, and still is, giving us a healthy dusting of several centimetres of the White, fluffy stuff. Personally, this weather makes me very happy. I love snow.

A lovely hot chocolate with whip cream would be a welcomed treat. If you’re serving, I’m ordering, please.

Now, music. Amelie is in my top three best movies and soundtracks. If this cafe has a French flair, I’d like to suggest someone play the soundtrack to that wonderfully, quirky love story.

Would asking for a movie night in the coffee house be going too far? I’m unsure what the capacity is, or what the fire regulations are, but there’s nothing like a good movie to stop the incessant march of time for a little bit.

Have a great day everyone!

I have an ancient Dell so it's not deserving of an axe... yet!

Dell builds decent boxes. And can be upgraded and repaired by anyone familiar with the basics of computer hardware, unlike a certain other brand of computer that I mentioned earlier.xNdqwmahEZqGfTHY

That's reassuring. smile a pal of mine said it would take someone who knows what they are doing about 20 minutes to fix. But that person is not me!

Don't put more than a hundred dollars in an old box.

Just posted my latest story here yesterday. Now, today, I notice that I wrote it in second person point of view and present tense. That is cool. Not done often.

I noticed the second person and intended to comment. It’s great to see you and other writers doing unique things, trying out different styles, etc. Stories Space is a good place to spread your wings, as it were. Well done!

I'm trying different things

He owns a bookshop... He must be a nice guy.

Just a small bookshop
I overslept this morning and missed the rising of the dawn. Normally, I'm up before the rooster has sounded. I need coffee.

Happy birthday, I hope that it was amazing!!

It was, thank you.

You're welcome
Usually, I like what I write. However, there are times when I wish I would have said it different. I'm probably viewed as a poet. In reality, I prefer writing stories. Usually of the dark kind or just silly ones. I love to write in collaborations also.
Winter

It can be so beautifully cold. The coolness gives me energy.
