A friend of mine sent me a leaflet the other day advertising a poetry competition, so here are the details:

Adjudicator: Mimi Khalvati

Closing Date: April 30th 2012

Prizes: 1st – £600

2nd – £300

3rd – £100

Plus anthology of winning and selected poems – The Ver Prize 2012

Entry Fee: £4 per poem, 3 poems for £10, £2 per poem thereafter

Poems are invited on any theme up to 30 lines. Two copies of each poem please accompanied by entry form and correct fee made payable to Ver Poets. Entries to Competitions Secretary, 181 Sandridge Road, St Albans, AL1 4AH. Anthologies can be ordered in advance – £4 plus 50p post and packaging. Copies of The Ver Prize 2011 are also available at the same price.
