Hello writers and editors of Stories Space!
I am seeking your writing, art, photography and more for a new printed zine I'm creating with a colleague.
I would be honored if you would submit, please see the details below!
Additionally, I would appreciate any ideas of where else to distribute this call for entries,
and please pass it along to any creative friends you know who might be interested.

Manifold: Repair

Manifold is a new printed Zine bringing together varied creative explorations of a chosen topic. Our first topic is focused around Repair and will launch in May 2013.

In beginning the dialogue, we offer the idea that repair includes recognition and restoration:
~ Recognition of: the worth and beauty of an entity, situation, person, place, thing or idea
~ Restoration as: a commitment to an entity's natural state of balance and harmony

We're specifically interested in images and/or text relating to any interpretation of the topic. We're open to other media, such as video and audio.

Please submit online by March 9th via Manifold.Submittable.com. We're accepting the following file types: PDF, jpg, mp3, m4a, tiff, mov, avi, mp4 and zip. Images should be at least 300dpi with the largest dimension at 10 inches. Feel free to visit our current webpage at ManifoldZine.Wordpress.com

I have no idea what you are talking about, or what the notion of repair particularly as it concerns recognition and restoration is concerned, regarding texts, images and interpretations of anything in any multi-media context.

We need more information, please.

- What type of pieces are you looking for: short stories, essays, poetry, all of the above?
- Are you offering payment of any sort?
- What rights does the writer/artist retain?
- Do you accept simultaneous submissions?
- A more in-depth explanation of the topic and your expectations would be appreciated. (I thought it was going to be about car repair from the name.)
