Reminder that DWB is currently looking for holiday stories for the upcoming season...Christmas 2011, Valentines 2012, Easter, etc...they're not looking for anything else at the moment...

But, they are accepting short stories up to 5k word count with those themes...

I sent them my Christmas story "His Christmas Wish" I posted here last year...it's also a reminder to myself that I really need to start writing it down when I send a story off somewhere so that I don't send the same story to the same place twice...

I don't know where I got that "$50 per story" thing from...actually, they are much better than that...they split the sales 50-50 with the authors...it says so right on the site...

I know this too because I recently signed a contract with them...I sold "His Christmas Wish" to them for their upcoming Christmas anthology which should be out in print soon, just in time for the holiday gift giving season...but, don't worry, when it comes out I'll make sure the whole world knows...

OK, maybe not the whole world...that's a bit ridiculous...just every English speaking man, woman and child on the planet... happy8
