Current Nightwish lead Floor Jansen from her recent solo concerts in Amsterdam. This song is one she wrote when she was in the band ReVamp. Her duet partner is Dutch opera and musical singer Henk Poort.

Elise Trouw is turning 23 this year and already putting out some pretty amazing music. This is the title track from her first (and to date only) album from 2017, so she is probably 17 in this video, 22 in the one above.
And, oh yeah, she's also a drummer and damn fine one.

Dang, did not realize these guys were still around. Been going continuously since 1968, though only one original member is left, bassist Pete Agnew. They've been around so long that Pete's son Lee is now the drummer, and has been for about 23 years.

Another site I am quite active on right now is Floorworld, the official site for fans of Dutch singer Floor Jansen. And we've all been in a tizzy this week as the release of her first ever original solo single approached (her past solo work has been covers or solo versions of songs from the various bands she has fronted). It dropped last night. It's marvelous.

I was a bit surprised when I learned Steve & Seagulls were Finns. They do hillbilly bluegrass so well, you would think they were American.
