What did happen to you today?

Still early for me, 8:32am on a beautiful Saturday morning. What happened is, my dad decides to wake me up before 6am because he wanted to chat. Ahm ..old man ..😂😂😃 you do realise people are trying to sleep here ..too funny. 

Not to me, but my coworker just returned from the county courthouse where he met his groom-to-be to get their marriage license for their immenent wedding!

Nothing yet, I just woke up and I’m about to get ready for work FINGERS CROSSED 🤞 It’s a great day

Today I washed my hair! Okay, that doesn't sound much, but, last Monday, I tore a two-inch gash in my scalp when I caught my head on an old nail. It was glued together at A&E (ER?). I had to wait until today before I could get it wet. 😕

Eek. I am surprised I've never pulled anything like that. I am terrible for standing up at the wrong moment. Glad it's healing up.

Yay! She's getting back on her game. Ape happy.

And what happened to me? Nothing too exciting or dramatic yet. I had a possible lead on someone to fill my vacancy at work. The manager of our local branch told us her brother is going to apply.

Started my day with washing. Guys are over to start on the new shed. Had a lovely brunch with Dad and sissy (she's working from home). Finally made my way back here to SS '..about damn time'. Now I'm off to sort out dinner and fix a late lunch.

Got wet (heavy rain this morning). Got mad (one of our suppliers had a major outage on the weekend, messing up my morning). Even got a bit of work done.

Other-half felt really unwell so took a covid test. Yep, after dodging it all this time... two lines! I have no doubt that we brought it back from The Netherlands. 😠

Put out gel ant bait, and within a few minutes, there were piles eating. Heeheeee.

Let's see, I had a Dr appointment this morning. Dad and sissy (RDO) went to the laundromat. We had an early lunch at our regular cafe. Watched a movie before sorting out, what we're having for dinner ..fish not too sure on how and side dishes

Still early, so for now, just chatting with Dad more like, he's spins his stories while I listen ..shhh ..don't judge me ..and post

Got the housecleaning done. Went for a nice walk through the valley next to my neighborhood. A good day overall.

I wrote 1000 words. I thawed some chicken. I watched the January 6th hearings. I watched some of the Astros/Mariners game. Now I'm going for a walk.

I spent my whole f-ing afternoon in meetings. And I have a full day corporate event tomorrow. When the (bleep) am I actually supposed to do work?

Lazy morning on another site ..morning chat with dad and his coffee ..halfway through chores ..on a break listening to music

Today I discovered that the Energy company has increased my direct debit payment to £292.00 per month without informing me. Tomorrow, their representative had better be wearing earplugs!

Labour Day. Lazy morning ..light breakfast ..visiting family. Sorting out picnic for our visit to mum yay
