Those times when you wish you had a tardis so you could see those gigs or listen to those songs first hand on the radio

I gather from Wikipedia that a TARDIS is a time machine on Dr. Who.
I also learned the first Velvet Underground gig was at Summit High School in Summit, New Jersey,
and that Maureen Tucker is now a member of The Tea Party and believes Barack Obama is a
Socialist trying to destroy America from within.

On a more positive note, John Cale has released 30 albums since leaving The Velvet Underground,
including Extra Playful, released in February of last year.

The combination of Wikipedia and Youtube is sort of like your own, personal TARDIS machine, isn't it?

Interesting. You wouldn't go back to the Cavern Club or the Indra Club in Hamburg when the Beatles played there in the early 60s, or the Abbey Road studio roof in January 1969? (I'm limiting you to just a one-time use of the time machine.)

I don't know where/when I would go, i.e. what band/musician is most important to me,
but I think I'd like to go back to the 1920's and see Bix Biederbecke in his early (relatively sober) years,
(of course, the 1920's is the decade I would most like to have lived in - even if it was to be followed by the Dirty 30's):

This would make an interesting Forum question.

I think I'd do a lot of time travelling..going to gig to gig...I'd really like to see Woodstock, listen to some old school Jazz, go listen to Mozart when he was a child, Nirvana unplugged...

You know, that would make a very interesting short story - especially with your knowledge of Festivals, - or a poem.
