Thank you, Larry. They are indeed.

An odd thing happened to me this morning. When I woke, I had a little poem in my head. It only contains 40 words and is reminiscent of Spike Milligan's style.
Now I am wondering, have I read it somewhere or is this writing lark really getting inside my head?
I shall post it in due course and when I do I would be grateful if any of you have seen or heard it before, please tell me.

Any one join me in a double Espresso?

You did say 'double' expresso? .... like 'medicinal' ?

Well, I hope the old superstition of bad things come in threes is true because, today I dropped my phone down the toilet!
Just five months old and the second one broken in 10 months!

Another test tube of espresso please!

Barkeep, your least objectionable coffee, see you play. ;)

Me, I'm frazzled after going one-on-one with my sig line. Things being a tad slow around here, it seemed like the time had arrived for a little pimping. Feel free to check out the link in my sig line and, if so motivated, maybe even the Flash story the link should link you to -- or something like that.

LOVE THIS!!! .... just had to share....

Sooo I'm in the coffee/tea/biscuits and stuff section of an upmarket department store, looking for a brand of coffee I have yet to try... and I see this display..

The display compartments are full of different coffee beans except the 'Long Black' and 'Flat White' are not coffee ... they are socks!

Awesome

Same department store.... Winter is coming Down Under ..

Basilur now offer a Tea for Frosty Mornings .. a Tea for Frosty Evenings .. a Tea for Frosty Days!

.. What if it snows?????

Well, now I am mad as hell! After dropping my phone down the toilet (see above) and wrecking it, I shelled out hundreds of pounds to replace it. Purely because it is a great phone and perfect for my needs.
But no, that is no good at all when I see the news yesterday and find that good old Mr. Trump has to start messing with things that affect people the world over!
That's right, my phone is a Huawei!

I'll have a triple espresso now then, Please.

I just rediscovered this.
Close your eyes and let it wash away all your woes... even if only for a minute or two.
It suddenly brought back happy memories of days long past.

So who, I say, WHO, in the name of both Strunk and White is in charge around here? (Inspirations is blanketed in total silence) (sigh)

If this coffee maker will act right there will be some extra strong coffee coming up.

Anna May, loved that link to 'Moon River'. But for a morning wake-up call, what about:

Okay, coffee's ready. (sip) Ain't half bad but I suspect the Mendalla Man will want to crank up his own brew so y'all better get some of this one while you can. ;)

Good morning, Bill. I'll go ahead and try your fresh java.

Went to see Mamma Mia! last night. They did a great production for a community theatre. And so many young adults, some of whom I've worked with in other shows and plays. It was a treat.

Down the street they are beginning the process to put a new roof on one of the homes. Not too long before the melodies of Spanish speakers and Tejano music will ring out over the neighborhood.
(puts on a fresh pot of dark roast coffee) Sure hope that last pot didn't harm Larry. Ya never can tell about those things, ya know. ;)

Keith's latest story 'Springtime Is For Lovers' is a first-rate quick read (1200 words). As the title suggests, it's in the 'Romance' category. Check it out.

Thanks, Bill! I'll check out Keith's story!

I'll grab a herbal tea here as it's getting too late for coffee! smile

Good music, Rumps. Here are a band whom I had the pleasure of meeting a few years ago when they were hired for the grand re-opening of my local bank branch. I think they deserve to make it big.

May I join you in an ultra-strong espresso?

My parent's house is finally on the market. We are hoping it sells quickly. My father's dementia is not going to get any better. It was a lot of work but the house looks great.

I am still helping them with things but no longer have to be over there all day working. Not sure what to do with some free time. I need to start working on my own house.

I hope all you fathers had a great father's day. I am grateful I got to spend another one with my dad. He had a good day and enjoyed the dinner I made. He was especially happy that I made him his favorite dessert, lemon meringue pie. I made one pie for everyone to share and one for him to take home.

I also baked some banana bread and chocolate chip cookies. I had a lot of nervous energy today.

I'll be curled up on the couch in the corner doing some reading.

Cheers Everyone!

May I come to your house, please? I love Lemon meringue... and banana bread... and Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Looked in the mirror earlier. My eyes looked strange - wait, no!

They look normal, not half swollen shut as was the case for the last three weeks!

Seriously, can allergy season be easing off, at last?

I really hope so, for myself and all the allergy sufferers here.

Good morning, poor, empty coffee house. I think I will just brew a pot of simple arabica to start the day. Feel free to have a cup if you please.

Off to the dentist in a couple of hours.

Cheers, all.

I'm here, Larry! *waves* I'll join you with a cup of that arabica

Hope the visit to the dentiist's went as smoothly as possible.
Nice to see you, Cynthia. Brewing a fresh pot now. Just had a sudden thunderstorm come through and put a stop to the lawn service mowing the grass in the neighborhood.

No appointments today. That's nice when that happens.

Cheers, all.
Brewing some coffee just to have a cup or two before it is hospital time. I'll be off for my regular immunotherapy.

Cheers, All.
Hope you're okay, Larry -@

Any coffee left for me? I've just had the longest couple of weeks at work, it's been madness. I need a good strong coffee and a couple of matchsticks for my eyes smile
Just waiting for my first cuppa java to cool enough to sip. Nothing planned for today. Just a regular Friday. I might do some shopping.

Cheers, all.
The forum is checked for new members and for birthdays. None today.

I'm waiting for the coffee to brew. It shouldn't be long.

Cheers, all.
Looks very empty here, but the coffee pot is hot and I could use a cup and just rest for a bit. A nice long Saturday that other than going out on the back porch to water plants in pots, I can work inside. As well as take breaks to read and listen to music. This place is very attractive, I wonder who did the interior decor....lots of very talented people here. My best to everyone.
Good morning to any who visit today. I've got coffee brewing. I'm ready for a cuppa java.

I've checked the forum and only one of my friends is having a birthday. That is Nicola. Also, no new members have signed on today.

Cheers, all.
Thank you Larry. I love that you checked on birthdays, got coffee going and cleaned the floor. My hero and love.
Ape discover banana tea. Ape bring banana tea to Inspirations. Kettle is on. Want banana tea?

I actually did discover banana tea but didn't buy it. Doesn't sound like a flavour that appeals to me. Maybe someday for a lark.

More importantly, I biked to my FLTS (friendly local tea store) today. Got some exercise and refreshed my tea stash.

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

This morning the only birthday that is a current member is Cleverfox. No new members today.

Coffee is brewing. Should be ready soon.

Cheers, all.
I am sure I have never heard of banana tea. I like bananas but perhaps not in tea.

I'll have a Coke, I need some caffeine. I've been spending time at the hospital while my Mom recovers. The process of selling their house and moving pushed her beyond what she could handle. It also seems to be speeding up my father's memory issues. Not sure what step is next.

I hope everyone is doing well. It's only mid-july but I am sick of the heat and humidity already.

Cheers.
