Dinner is on the stove. Hamburger stew. Getting close to ready.

It's time to make some African Red Herbal Tea. Ready to drink after we finish dining.

Cheers, all.

Thank you, Cynthia. The dinner was good and the tea was nice. Today is my cuppa java, of course.

Actually, at this time, I am at the hosptial for my tri-weekly infusion. Just discussed this and that with my oncologist. Awaiting the Pembro to be sent down from the lab upstairs.

Since they have wifi here I can just do my internet surfing while here.

Cheers, all.
* whips up two hot chocolates and passes one to Sara *

Even got some mini marshmallows if needed.

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

Howdy folks
Can I have hot chocolate here ?

The water is boiling. YOu can make a cuppa cocoa, for sure. Even put some mini-marshmallows in it, just the way you like it, little Sara.

I'll have my last cuppa java for this day.

Cheers, all.

Edit: Oops, beat me to it, Scott. Hahahaha.
I'm not a fan of hot drinks even in the winter I prefer ice cold beverages. I will, however, try to sneak a few marshmallows away from Sara to snack on.

Not looking forward to a cold rainy weekend. Hopefully going out for dinner and a movie later, after dealing with family drama.

I hope everyone is keeping warm.

Family drama sounds grim. Dinner and a movie after sounds well deserved. I think you need a few cocktail umbrellas to spear those mini-marshmallows with, Gill!

Bedtime lemon and ginger tea here, please. I"m wearing layers over my layers. Dank and chilly here. Brrr!
Good day, to all. Hope it's going well. We got around an inch of snow last night. Not too much.

Just wanted to mention that it was the birthday of Janis Joplin. Quite a lady.

I'm having another cuppa java to continue the day with some online surfing.

Cheers all.
And a very Happy Birthday to Survivor.............

Hey, Happy Birthday, Larry. I brought in a tray of birthday cupcakes for the snack table. Variety of flavours so find a favorite and dig in.

Thanks, Scott. You get your tea brewing and I'll make a fresh pot of coffee.

Cheers, all.
I'm enjoying a peaceful quiet night at home. Everyone is out watching football elsewhere.

I'll take a birthday cupcake and a ginger-ale and settle in to catch up on some reading.
Oh very exciting and nice of Scott to bring the cupcakes. I would love to have one and a chamomile tea. I have been enjoying the Victoria series on PBS. Nothing a good American woman loves more than queens and the history of England.
"I'm late, I'm late for a very important date.
No time to say hello, good-bye,I'm late, I'm late,I'm late
I'm late and when I wave, I lose the time I save.
My fuzzy ears and whiskers took me too much time to shave.
I run and then I hop, hop, hop, I wish that I could fly.
There's danger if I dare to stop and here's a reason why:
I'm over-due, I'm in a rabbit stew. Can't even say good-bye,
Hello, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late."

Sorry for being tardy, Happy Birthday, Larry!

Thanks for the good wishes, Pusher.

It's noon and I still need more coffee to keep warm. This is ridiculous. Hate the cold.

Oh well. Safe and warm inside.

Cheers, all.

I always find it interesting how fascinated Americans are by an institution that they gave the boot to more than two centuries go. Meanwhile, I live in a constitutional monarchy and am bored to tears by the whole thing.

Good morning, folk. Kettles on for the tea drinkers. Picked up a new selection of fine black teas for you to enjoy. Added some whole bean coffee and an automatic grinder for coffee folks wanting something special, too.

Frigid weather but it's a bit warmer than on the weekend (single digit instead of double digit negative temps).

No football here. Our Grey Cup is in November so it's just hockey and (in Toronto at least) basketball in Canada right now. Though some Canucks do follow the NFL and likely are raging at the apparent officiating debacle on the weekend.

Have a fine day, all!

My wife and I lost our best friend last night. Puppy Doggy (miniature poodle) adopted us seventeen years ago. Now she is memories of the good times we had. Teaching me how to fetch her treats.

The French are quite fascinated by the British monarchy, royalty and all that as well. And their removal of the monarchy was quite brutal, to say the least. My take on it is they enjoy the pageantry, the scandals, the history etc because they don't have to live with it or under a constitutional monarchy themselves, or pay for any of it.

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that. Seventeen years is a long time with an animal, and it is so painful to lose one. All my sympathy to you and your wife.

Please accept my sympathy for your loss, Al. This is so hard for you to take, I'm sure.
Condolences, Obituarius. I haven't had pets in a long time (wife doesn't like furry beasts in the house) but did in my youth (both a cat and a dog) and remember them well.

Al, sorry to hear about your loss. May the memories of your lives together bring you comfort as the pain of loss diminishes.

Sorry to hear that, Al. Cherish the happy memories.

Pets are family and it is always so hard when you lose one.

I can't sleep so I'll hang out here and straighten up.

After that, I'll settle into a comfy chair with ginger ale and a book.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Cheers!
Haven't popped in here for a few days, so it's been good to read through the posts and catch up with you all.

Sorry for your loss, Al.

Snowy morning here, so I'll have an Earl Grey tea. Hot. smile
Snowy morning here as well. The pup and I were the first to disturb the snow outside this morning. We didn't get far before the 18 degree weather and snow froze his little feet. As usual I carried him home to warm up.

I'm having some of the freshly brewed java, of course.

Cheers, all.
Coffee, please. Quality auditor will be here within the hour. This is my only chance to breathe and prepare for his visit. Wish me luck that there isn't a non-conformance to be found. I'm ready for the struggle.UZOL46BxV1g0U3I2
