Each evening they share a lovingly cozy ambiance until bedtime.
I went out, this afternoon. It rained for ten minutes!

I scolded my friendly cat but he answered, "Me? How?"

I played an old record. It was 'Celebration' by PFM

It was quite an achievement, really after all these years.

I crossed an old rope bridge. It was very supportive!

I wanted to read stories but the library was closed!

I waited in the space just behind the bus shelter.

At least it was out of the wind. Quite cosy.

I wasn't alone and loved the camaraderie in the queue.

I expected a long wait. Still, I had free time.

The leaves are turning and so much to really enjoy.
I tried my hand at a few of these. Not exactly sure what constitutes nano fiction, but they were a good exercise nonetheless. smile

Nestled around the fire, the past melts away. Finally free.

As ashes rain in celebration, victory never tasted so bitter.

Cozy and friendly. Even at twenty-three, she loved her teddy.

A story in only ten words, impossible but I'm willing to give it a go.

I won the lottery. Oh wait, that’s a six, bugger.

I thought he’d never believe my excuse, and he didn’t.

When I said I didn’t eat the cake. I lied.

You love me all the world. Sorry, who are you?

Are ten words enough for a story? I don't know.

Just wondering, but has this thread just become a generic ten-word story thread? πŸ€”

I don't mind, but the original post contained this...

The fine print:

β€’ Each story must include one of the[se] word selections:

- Celebration

- Achievement

- Stories

- Space

- Camaraderie

- Ten

- Friendly

Aww, you didn't need to delete, you weren't the only one. Perhaps we should have a Ten-word story thread like the five-word sentence one? πŸ˜€

Write a ten-word story using the last word of the story above? Ouch, that really could be a challenge. Perhaps writing a ten-word story using A word from the story above would be better. Then again, it is supposed to be a challenge ... πŸ˜€

And I'll leave mine up. I completely forgot this was an old anniversary-related challenge when people started posting in it again.

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.
