Actually, it is similar to the one my employer uses on our literature and website. I would need to get the code for this one to compare but I think it is a few shades lighter than the one work uses. Our graphic artist is very particular about getting that shade right. 😋

Giving Dark Mode a whirl. Looks good, actually, and haven't seen any issues yet. I am generally not fond of dark modes so will probably switch back eventually, but looking good for a dark mode.

This sounds like fun, actually. I don't usually go to the effort of adding text to images, just make the adjustments I need to make it fit. With something like this, that might change.

First run, it looks pretty good. Finicky at times but I expect that of a web app unless I'm on an absolutely crystal clear connection. I'll play more tonight. Will save me some time spent in Paint 3D for sure. 😊

I'm sure everyone is aware that the site was down for a little bit. They were doing an update and there was likely a server issue but it should all be sorted now. Thank you for your patience.

Yes, it happened again.

Please know the team is working on it and will continue to monitor the issue moving forward. This could happen again throughout the day but they are on top of it.

The latest one was a long one. Hope your support team are getting things sorted. They have my sympathies. Nothing like a balky server to make an IT guy's day go downhill. Speaking from experience there and glad I now have staff to deal with that kind of stuff.

As I'm sure you've all seen we now have our covers showing beside our stories. I think it's a fantastic addition. If you find any missing or broken please let me know.

Along with that, we have swapped Popular Stories for Trending Stories. It's the same logic just over a shorter amount of time to keep them fresher

Nice change but all my pre-SS 2.0 stories need new cover images. They look awful as "thumbnails" since they were landscape rather than portrait in those days. Some I can do with cropping but others might need new images. A project for a vacation or holiday period, maybe.

This goes to everyone. For any that need updating please feel free. All I ask is that you all put Updated Cover Only in the mod notes. Unless of course, you've changed text as well.

I am noticing minor updates daily. I like them. They are polishing the SS site, which I thought looked nice before the updates began. My favorite update thus far are the thumbnails of stories and poems that appear next to titles. Nice work. ❤️🌹

We have a few updates coming that will fix a few of the random glitches we've been having. Hopefully, they will be smooth and you won't even notice.

Notifications are working better, I have noticed, though it has never been as big a problem here as on the other site I know of that uses this software.😉
