Your forum signature is now found in the Forums. Click More - Forum Settings.
If you have links to stories in your sig, you might need to fix them. Mine were going to a 404 - Page Not Found error until I redid them.

So looks like the site has a Portable Web App (PWA). When I logged in on my phone (Android) it prompted me to install StoriesSpace. Tap Install and you get a nice SS icon. Need to see if it gets a badge for notifications like other PWAs that I use.

What I have found so far is that we no longer have a Timeline, nor the profile activity log. I will have to figure out how to get the information those things still give us on Lush. I have not found a listing of all of the badges yet. I seem to have a couple on my profile that I should not have, and am missing some I had before.
I find jumping all around the page to find what used to be at my fingertips a bit convoluted. Is there some reason why the blue site could look more like the red site format? Just asking.
So far, the most useful things I've found to quickly get around are the two buttons in the upper right. Stories for latest stories, and forum>new posts to see what's recently been posted (I really like that feature!). Still looking around. I like it!

Am I right in thinking that stories that are saved (and not published yet) in the My Stories list on the old site have disappeared. I had two here that I can't now find. Is there an easy way of seeing if your friends are online at the minute? I do like the presentation and look of the stories, still navigating my way around.

I've found that the story-image is much smaller than before cropping images on my previous stories rather than reducing them.
@CuriousAnnie you're not the only one. I have over a dozen unpublished stories that I planned on releasing weekly from September. Now they're all gone.😓☹️😠
I tried to upload a story just now. I filled in all the boxes but when I pressed "Submit" a little circle just kept going round and round. I'll try again later.
I'm unable to publish a story - like you, I just get the wheel of death. Is there a FAQ? How do I upload images? I can't send messages (wheel of death again). Where are all my replies to comments? They seem to have disappeared. And is there a way of having a story loaded for edit? When I copied and pasted my story into the 'publish story' page, it took out all the line breaks - not too bad for a micro, but not helpful for longer stories.

We've identified that there's an issue uploading photos including story covers and therefore it's that part of the story submit process which is failing. We're just working on resolving that as soon as possible. You should find submitting stories without a cover works.
Apologies that I've not got the time right now to reply back to any other questions or comments but I hope to be back soon once things settle down on this side.

I've just realised that a number of my older stories (from last year) seem to have disappeared - including my competition entries. Also, will there be options to print and download as before?

Also, the comments from other members that have migrated on my profile are intended for DirtyMartini's profile page.
He was a long time member and moderator here, who sadly passed away in 2016. His profile and stories have been kept as he left them, and people left memorial comments under his profile. They are now under my profile and I find this more than a little upsetting and out of place.
If it were any other member, I'd contact them to find out if I should just delete them. Under the circumstances I cannot.
I am well aware that this is all new and there are a lot of things to sort out but please, could someone get to this or at least acknowledge it?

Edit: Issue identified. We'll need to clear out all of the existing comments and get them mapped correctly.
I have found nothing like a chat room or a chat window function. I know the chat room had been deleted years ago from lack of usage, but there is no reason not to still have the chat window function just as before.
Messenger is, I think, supposed to be the chat function, but I am not sure it is working. There's an IM icon on the top left corner of profiles in your friends that I think is supposed to open a chat/instant messaging session but I couldn't get it to work yesterday. You can try. I'll be online for a bit yet.
Or are you talking about chatrooms similar to the other site rather than one-to-one?

Chat windows are a method to create a way to communicate. It is available for people to create their own window to talk, but not a chat room. One finds it by going to the Interact With (member) on their profile. I think Messenger is intended to function as the Black Boxes did previously. I think I found where unpublished stories may be found. I went to my profile. Then selected my stories. It brought up all 500 of my published stories. I noted the word Unpublished in the upper right. I clicked on it and brought up the one unpublished story I had in the queue. That may be how people can find their works in progress not published yet.

You're right, notifications are whacked at the moment. There's a couple of other burning issues, but we'll get around to resolving that one.

Sorry, I put this in another thread too. Are we going to have to use the Google authenticator every time we log on? It is having me use it each time I log on. I thought I was missing stories but found them. I had a few hidden, but that doesn't seem to be an option at the moment. Since our photos are still public I'd like to remove them but haven't figured out how yet. It's probably obvious but I am still finding my way around. I am getting notifications now.
