I have just had the pleasure of reading the fourth chapter of a most excellent series by Redwriter entitled 'Wishing for home'.
Set during the early days of World War Two, young Danny Rogan is evacuated to the country from his home in the city.
It is a wonderful tale of angst and woe from a young boy who is treated as a servant.. indeed, a slave, by the very couple who to whom he was entrusted for protection.
This tale is not getting enough interest and I highly recommend it.
It is very well written and an intriguing story.
