Congratulations to the winners and everyone who entered.

It was so much fun reading all the entries. There were so many excellent stories in this comp. I look forward to the next one.
First off, I love what a great field we got for this comp. An incredible turnout for our first Stories Space comp in quite a while. Some terrific stories there including, but not limited to, the top ten.

Second, I am truly humbled to be on the podium with these two. They are terrific stories and quite deserving of the prizes they got. In another universe, though, some of the other top ten could well have been in the top three. It's that good a field.

So congratulations to all who entered, with a special high five (virtual, of course) to my fellow winners and top-tenners.

Now, let's head over to Inspirations, break out some drinks and goodies (esp. some of Sara's cookies) and celebrate the success of this comp.

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

This was such a fun contest!

Congratulations to the top three and to all who entered.

A big thanks to Molly and everyone at this site for organizing the competition. It is a lot of thankless work, but know it is very much appreciated. I am already looking forward to the next contest, whether it be a comp (i know they are not easy to organize) or even just a writing challenge. smile
That was a fun contest, with some truly good stories! Congrats to the winners, and to the remainder of the top 10.

Fire and Ice - A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words competition, first place

Monster - Survivor competition, first place

So enjoyed this contest, 500 words is an enjoyably challenging length.

Congratulations to all who entered, the top ten and in particular Blackdog, Wordpusher715, and Mendalla.

Thanks to those who organised and judged this competition.

My latest story, Mardi Gras Competition: Sydney's Mardi Gras: We Shall Overcome

Some earlier stories:

Spooky Tales competition: Tales From the Crypt: Downunder Edition

Tam-challenge Micro: Under the Red Hoodie

Maybe my best story: Finding Pride on Oxford Street

Thanks for the kind words and congratulations. I enjoy the StoriesSpace family. The talent is amazing and the stories are wonderful for those with wandering minds like mine. Congratulations to everyone who entered and especially to the Top Ten.
All the contest participants deserve a big, 'WAY TO GO!' and the list of veteran writers with 'top-notch' stories is evidence of the quality of the writings. Two extra special shout outs to:

Molly and anyone who lent a helping hand in the contest. Y'all done did good and did it with style.

I'm not acquainted with Black Dog but I'm now a follower. His story 'Folds' was superb.

Hope there's some coffee left over at, Inspirations.

Absolutely, first and foremost thanks to SS and Molly and everyone behind the scenes on the site (lol, I even loved the logo design). It was a fun summer comp and brought out so many talented writers and a wide range of stories. Your imaginations boggle my imagination! Congrats to the winners, the honourables and everyone who entered!
