I submitted to these a few years ago. They requested a manuscript but I didn't hear from them again.

Maybe you didn't win? But they should've let you know. I submitted my work to a contest in college and they let me knew I had not won. Anyhow, thanks for letting us know. Sorry that happened to you. But look where you are now. You published a book! To you and anyone else that has done so, congratulations! That requires much dedication and effort.
