A big salad with grilled chicken breast and probably fruit on the side. It's too hot for anything heavy.
Oddly enough, I'm having the exact same thing I had above.
Brown Butter Scallops and Burst Tomato Basil Pasta
I'm obsessed with Half Baked Harvest by Tieghan Gerad. I started by following her and then got her book. Everything I have made so far has come out great.
Homemade pizza. I think just pepperoni and sausage.
Oven roasted turkey breast with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, gravy, and rolls.
Steak quesadillas with Spanish Rice.
Stuffed green peppers with sausage.
Crabcakes on brioche buns with homemade tartar sauce, pasta salad and fresh fruit.
Grilled hot dogs with, potato salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob.
Don't worry, there will be chili and diced up onions on the side.
Possibly take out again, sadly.
Any suggestions?
Costco rotisserie chicken. Best grocery store cooked chicken I know of.
I do like Costco rotisserie chicken but Loblaws Portuguese Churasco Chicken is my go to for my grocery prepped whole chicken.
Anyway, ended up making a hamburger for dinner. Fresh, not frozen so it was a tasty last minute decision.
Beef fried rice.
It started out as leftover pot roast and leftover rice. Dice up a few veggies, and voilà beef fried rice.
Chicken Chow Mein. It was good even if I did cook the rice a bit too long.
