New & Looking for guidance

Hello all! I'm new to the group and just starting out on my writing journey. For years, my family and friends have been telling me I should write a book on all the "life hacks" I learned while working as a professional nanny to celebrities and executives. Now that I'm a stay-at-home mom, I've finally found the time to get started on it!

I'm trying to write something similar to The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, but more related to being a mom and juggling life. All I have so far are all my tips, tricks, and ideas, but I'm really looking for guidance on how to organize everything and get started writing. I would ultimately like to get this on Amazon. I would love help! Are there any good websites, writing workshops, books, or guides that you recommend?
Hi Sarah and welcome to Stories Space.

Feel free to contact me if you need anything - if I can't help, I will point you in the direction of someone who can. Also, check our forum threads in 'Resources for Writers", there are loads of things in there that you can learn from.

“Many people hear voices when no one is there. Some of them are called mad and are shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day. Others are called writers and they do pretty much the same thing.”

Welcome, Sarah!
Welcome, Sarah. Since you're proposed book would be non-fiction, you might consider working up proposals to send to various agents/publishers. (That's pretty much a no-no for fiction.) For what it's worth, I think your idea has a lot of potential but could become a complex, organizational nightmare. If an agent/publisher shows interest, they might suggest a book doctor or some other pro to help you with the project. -- Best of luck.

Welcome to Stories Space Sarah

I know there are a lot of people here I am sure who could dirrect you in the right direction.
Good luck with your book.
