This is me from my recent wedding day, fully tuxedoed, buttoned-up, and bow tied. Since I was in a tux and my bride was in an incredible ultratraditional bridal gown, veil and all! She was definitely a bride. So what would I be considered? A groomette? A groom bride?

You are whomever you wish to be. Wonderful photo, and congrats on the wedding!

Thank you SO much! That was taken about an hour or so before I was taken to the church prior to the wedding. You have NO idea how nervous to the point of being terrified I was! The first instant I saw my bride in her bridal gown and veil, and she took my arm, I had to struggle not to hyperventilate!

I am with Verbs on this. I will bet the etiquette types have come up with some protocol but I am not a fan of protocol where matters of the heart are concerned. Congratulations and all my best for your marriage. And call yourself whatever you like.

I'll call myself my bride's groom then!

Yes, but what will your bride call you? I am sure mine has some good ones that she only uses behind my back. 😳😉

My bride calls me her groom, but then looking like she did on our wedding day, she can call me whatever she wants!

Nice dress. Reminds me of my wife's (which was actually my mother's with some retooling). You must have made quite a couple

I think we did, especially with her in that bridal gown and me all tuxed, buttoned-up, and bow tied. The instant I saw her like that, it was all I could do not to hyperventilate, I was so nervous!
