Anna has had her book The Nurses accepted for commercial publication. She said I could tell friends and you are all friends. I'm so excited for her. I told her to start thinking of who she wanted to play the parts in the movie.

Oml ..that's awesome news ..a bit late to the party who cares ..CONGRATS!!!
Thank you, E. sadly, that didn't work out quite as well as I hoped but... I have just signed a contract with a new publisher so, once again, fingers crossed. 🤞🤗

Publishing a book, not to mention the arduous work involved, is a great accomplishment. I don't know much about your experience in getting it published, but I'm fairly certain you encountered road blocks. The things that truly matter to us in life sometimes involve those road blocks, but challenges are good to work through. You persevered through the difficulties and never gave up. That shows great strength in character. Now, people can purchase your book and flip through the pages. As said before, Anna, I'm very proud and happy for you. ❤️ 🤗🥳

Well, I am sad to say that the sales of my book didn't take off. The publisher who took it on was an independent person who produced a very good-looking book. Unfortunately, that was all he did. The only possible version was a print-to-order paperback which, when postage was added, became rather expensive. He offered no promotion whatsoever. We have now parted company.
Okay, that was the bad news. Here, though, is the good news. The Nurses is back on the shelves. This time with Fresh Ink Group, an American publisher, who has re-designed the cover. Now it is available as an e-book, paperback, and hardback, through Amazon and other outlets worldwide. It is still not a cheap book, but at more than 533 pages, it is a big read.
Like the Phoenix, it has risen from the ashes.

The beginning part of what you said is very unfortunate but it turned out well in the end, I believe. Thanks for providing the links.

Fresh Ink Group is doing a great job of promoting The Nurses. Now there is a trailer on YouTube. Take a look and tell me what you think... Please. 😊
Fantastic, Anna! The trailer is a great promo idea. It was as if hearing a well put together synopsis on audio in lieu of reading one. And photos throughout; not too many nor too little, the sufficient amount. I tend to be visual at times, especially while reading. I want to read character descriptions and the such as how the writer imagined it. “The Nurses” novel cover does a wonderful job itself but I saw real photos of nurses, doctors and the ship that sank. I really liked that. I also like how the voice described, “The Nurses.”
I knew before watching the promo the whole title ends with “Book I.” Does that mean there is going to be a “Book II?” Maybe that is why you named “The Nurses” a saga, if memory serves correct. The graphics as well; well done. I am so very proud of you and excited for you, Anna! 🤗❤️

You are absolutely right, Ellie. There are three books in total. However, books two and three won't see the light of day if the first one doesn't sell enough. Book two is set in North Africa, and book three follows Maria and Katarina as they try to get home through war-torn Europe. I have also begun to write a fourth part, which carries on from the war's end.
I just hope it gets noticed enough for more people to enjoy it. It was very popular when I posted it all here.
