Flash Fiction Minimum

Sorry if this is elsewhere already and I've missed it. I'm getting conflicting information about minimum uploads.

Under the "Acceptable Use Policy", character counts must be at least 3,000 characters. However, under the description of Flash Fiction, it says that stories can be "anywhere between one hundred to one thousand words".

I was just about to submit a story of 347 words long, but it's less than 3,000 characters. It doesn't take much to confuse me! Can you help me by clarifying, please? Thank you.

I didn't think we used character counts at all now, just word counts. <=100 is micro, 100-1000 is flash, 1000 is then the minimum for everything else. But, yeah, some clarity and maybe an update of that page would be a good idea.

I am so sorry that I have missed this. I've looked in the forums every day and still missed this. We don't count characters and that is something we need to update.

As Mendalla said, from 100 to 1000 is flash, and 1000 minimum for everything else except poetry, musing, and lyrics, they don't have the same rules. Only one is the 10k limit.
