Phone call seems less awkward. Even after 6 months of video conference calls for work, I'm still not comfortable with them.

Depends on what I am buying. If it is something where I know exactly what I want, e.g. a new tablet, online. For stuff I need to browse and look at, like produce or books (weird combo, I know), then store.

Watch the world go by. That was one of my favourite memories of my trips to Japan, riding the Shinkansen and looking out at the countryside.
