I do not think so. Maybe if it was a children's story. There would most likely be a dog as a main character. If so, I can see a stuffed animal as merchandise.

WYE go on a book tour to promote a story or novel you have written?

Sure. Could be fun. And an excuse to travel.

WYE volunteer to do aid or charity work in another part of the world?

Halloween looms and my annual story is here. Is it a trick? Or a treat? Let me know.

If the opportunity presented itself, most definitely.

WYE help someone in desperate need who had an infectious disease?

If I could, yes.

WYE give a stranger a ride?

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana

No. I would help the stranger find means of transport in other ways, i.e. Lyft, Uber, possibly. Depending on circumstances direct him/her to a shelter or EMS station. If I did not feel in danger I would help him/her as much as possible but I do not find it prudent or wise to give him/her a ride.

WYE give a homeless person on the street your leftover food in a box from a restaurant?

Certainly.

WYE sign up for a charity if approached by a street vendor?

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana

Probably not. Sometimes signing up for a charity in that way is a scam. I would rather research a charity before donating.

WYE give a belonging you very much liked to a friend?

If their need was greater than mine. I gave my beloved little Kia Picanto to my daughter-in-law. It is 15 years old but I loved it.

WYE lend your car to anyone?

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana

Outside of family (my son has one of my cars more or less permanently), not likely.

WYE help a family member buy, or buy for them, a big ticket item like a home or vehicle?

It would depend on why and what, but yes... if I could.

WYE assist a stranger with a broken down or stuck car?

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." George Santayana

No. That is "Serial Killer 101." I would call the police station and report the license plate number and where the car was located so the officers could safely and properly assist the driver. If anyone looked hurt I would call EMS.

WYE start your own charity organization?

I would have to have a cause that I really, seriously believed to commit that kind of energy and time. Never say never, but I don't really see myself doing it.

WYE make a large contribution/investment to a project to get your name on it (assuming you had the cash)?

Footnote: Arguably, Wondercafe2, the site I admin, is charitable, not in a legal sense but in that it is volunteer-run and funded by donations. It is not a huge effort, though, and doesn't have the tax and accounting issues that being a legal charity brings.
