I am grateful; That I happened upon this site And discovered a whole new, and wonderful world!!!
Recently, I wished to a group of people that besides receiving Peace, Love, and Happiness, I hoped that they would all find Joy in the most unexpected place...
And now, I have become the beneficiary of my own wish ...Because, I quite unexpectedly came across this site!
So I pray, in extending this wish to all of you...
May all of your hopes, and dreams, be granted to you, and yours ....

Today I am grateful for the Security Cameras I recently had fitted around my Mum's (94) home.
Today she had a fall and I was able to check the recording and see that all was well. (I live fifty miles away)

Today I am grateful for my wonderful family who will give my beautiful 42 year old daughter all the love and support she need over the next weeks and months.
She had a large growth surgically removed from her anus ten days ago, and has learnt today that she has stage 2 anal squamous cell carcinoma. She will he sent for CT, PET and MRI scans to determine whether it has spread to her lymph nodes, hopefully fairly soon, and after that will start a combined course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We are fortunate that we live in Manchester with one of the two specialist cancer treatment hospitals in the UK, and that under the NHS the treatment will be free.
