Online. I do not shop much but when I do I find it easier to shop online. Sometimes I like going in person to thrift stores. The only exception is for gardening. Then I prefer in person. Visiting the nurseries around here is so serene and beautiful.

Actually, pumpkin festival sounds fun. The husband of a co-worker at the library I worked at in the 90s was one of those guys who grew giant pumpkins trying to break various records.

Haunted house. Our neighbourhood is undergoing renewal right now (empty nesters leaving and new families starting to arrive) so trick or treat has been rather, um, dead the last decade or so. Basically since my son's crowd left for university.

I love the smell of a real tree, but since they trigger my allergies, I have to choose a fake tree. I love ours; it already has lights that are part of the tree.
