Both, but I think I like turkey more.

Crackers and cheese: Brie or Grier cheese?

Brie. Haven't had it in a long time, either.

Soft cheeses (like Brie and Camembert) or hard cheeses (e.g. cheddar)?

Again, both. Brie has been my favorite since I was a child. I also like cheddar. I am adverse to

Bleu cheese, though.

Peach or Orange?

Peach

Honeydew melon or Cantaloupe?

Not a big melon fan, but Honeydew probably has a slight edge. Both over watermelon, though.

Electric or gas lawnmower?

Petrol all day long. The wire for electric ones is a pain and battery power is too weak.

Push along or self-propelled?

Self-propelled, once you have it, you can't go back.

Burger or hot dog?

Burger, even if I do like both.

Hot dog or sausage on a bun?

Hot dog. I like sausage more, but I prefer them not on a bun.

Picnic in the park or BBQ at home (family and/or friends)?

There is something to be said for both and I can't really choose one over the other.

Fried Chicken or Roast Chicken?

Roast Chicken.

Ice cream: waffle cone or bowl? (sugar free optional)

Waffle cone. Haven't had one in a long time.

One flavour or scoops of two or more flavours?

Most always one flavor. Sometimes I mix it up with two flavors.

Ice cream or cake?

Oo, toughie. Maybe ice cream.

Pancakes or Waffles?

Never tried sweet waffles, so pancakes.

Honey or Maple Syrup?

I do not really use either. Honey in hot water when I have a tickle in my throat. So, honey.

Sleeping at night: One pillow or two pillows?

Just one.

Firm.

Lighting: Lamp or candle?

Open fire or stove?

Open fire.

Ghostwriter for your favorite genre or write a short story in your least favorite genre?

Ghosting could be fun, actually, if the person I was writing for had some good ideas. But generally the latter, since I prefer to write with my own agenda and ideas.

Write a bunch of stories or a novel?

A bunch of stories. My brain can barely string enough thought together for one story, let alone a novel.

Read short stories or a novel by a favorite author?

Novel, generally speaking. Occasionally I enjoy short stories of a favorite author, ex. Fitzgerald's, "Pat Hobby Stories."

Shakespeare or Poe?

Hmmm. Probably Poe, though I am fond of both. May be a mood thing, really, Sometimes I want drama in iambic pentameter, sometimes something a bit spooky.

Poe's stories or Poe's poems?

Probably read Poe’s stories, although I do enjoy his poems.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” or “Macbeth”?

I studied A Midsummer Night's Dream in High school. I think it killed any interest I may have had in Shakespeare.

Poetry that rhymes or not?

I'm easy. Rhymes can add something but are sometimes kind of clunky if the poet resorts to awkward phrasing or word choices to make the rhyme. But most of what I read is either blank verse or based more on metre than rhyme.

Use VPN or other techniques to sneak a peek at a new song before it hits your time zone on streaming OR (im)patiently wait? (yes, this is relevant to my life right now)

I'd wait. I am inpatient about many things but probably not about new music.

Buy the expensive hardback book of your favorite author, or wait until it is out in paperback?

If I was buying it myself, paperback. But I used to get the hardcovers as gifts. These days, more likely hardback. Easier to hold open than paperback spines. But I mostly tend to e-books now for the ability to adjust the display to suit my eyesight.

A "serious" book (non-fiction or a "literary" novel) or something light and entertaining (romance, space opera, humour, whatever turns your crank)?
