Historically accurate or futuristic fiction movie?

Historically accurate movie.

On a Saturday night, go to the movie theater or stay at home and watch a movie with friends or family?

Nowadays, watch at home. Theaters around here are horribly expensive nowadays. Maybe for something on the scale of Avatar, I would still hit a theater.

Graphic novel or text novel?

Depends what I am in the mood for reading. In college I read nearly all graphic novels for maybe over a year. They are very interesting. I also greatly enjoy text novels, probably more, so I will choose text novel.

Hard candy, i.e. Jolly Rancher or soft candy, i.e. Starburst (sugar free, nut free if needed)

I think it's more the specific candy than the type for me. I have both hard and soft that I like. I do like sucking on a hard candy sometimes, though. Lasts longer than soft.

Running/walking or biking for exercise?

Biking; it is easier on the knees. I like a nice walk with my dogs, though.

At the gym/home: elliptical or treadmill?

I actually use a stationary bike right now at home but of those, I'd use a treadmill. I've tried ellipticals in gyms while on vacation and never quite got the hang of them. Wife likes them, though.

Rock/pop concert: Arena/stadium show or festival?

Rock concert at an arena.

James Taylor or Carly Simon?

Hmm. Seventies folk-pop eh. I like both about the same, but probably Carly in a pinch.

Creepy, spooky ghost story or brutal, gory "splatter" horror?

A creepy, spooky ghost story. I've grown tired of the gory splatter type.

Psycho or The Birds?

I like both, but I will side with Psycho.

Alfred Hitchcock or Wes Craven?

Hitchcock. Craven was definitely good and had some great ideas but not quite in Hitch's league.

Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees?

Jason Voorhees. The mask creeps me out. Reminds me of Michael Myers. Scariest costume ever. Michael’s walking slowly majorly adds to the fear effect.

While watching a movie: Popcorn or candy?

Popcorn

Steve McQueen or Paul Newman?

Newman. He had a style about him that appeals to me. Haven't seen many of McQueen's flicks, to be honest.

Glasses/contacts or get your eyes lasered and do away with them?

I wish Lasik was a choice, but even if I had it, I'd still need glasses, so I'll have to say glasses.

Soft pillows for sleep or firm?

I think soft pillows, but I'm having so many issues with finding the right one for me just now! My neck is killing me.

Trainers or sandals?

Depends what i am doing. Sandals around the house (except in the main living area where we go barefoot). Trainers for walking outdoors.

R-rated or PG-13 (movie/TV)?

Depends. Movies/TV series' I watch are usually war/military related so they are usually rated R. But then there is "Roman Holiday," a favorite of mine. So it depends on my mood.

Castor oil or lotion?

Lotion. Can't remember when I last used Castor oil (Although I have used Castrol oil! 👌).

Foreign language TV/Movies: Dubbed or subtitled?

Dubbed if done well, but subtitles are usually better. For Chinese movies in Mandarin, subtitles for sure since my wife can follow the dialogue then.

Concert tickets: Just the concert or take the VIP package (usually includes meet and greet, band merch)?

Concert tickets, most likely. Years ago I would have wanted the VIP package for sure.

Foreign language movies: French or Russian?

French. I can at least understand it a bit and I have enjoyed some French movies in the past.

Raincoat or umbrella? (inspired by the weather where I am today)

Both. I like the sound of the rain on an umbrella.

Gentle summer rain or torrential downpour?

I enjoy both, but I will side with torrential downpour. I love rain.

Rain or thunderstorm with rain?

Rain, l have a phobia of loud noises, so not a fan of thunder

A walk in the rain or the snow?

Snow, probably. I hate being wet. Then again, snow can get you wet, too, if the temperature is too high. So snow but only if it is cold enough to not be wet snow. Which is probably too cold to be out. Dang, this is complicated.

Straight black tea (e.g. Orange pekoe, various breakfast blends) or a flavoured blend (e.g. Earl Grey)?

I enjoy both. White tea is my favorite. I suppose I will choose flavored blend. Black tea can sometimes be too bitter.

Coffee or tea?

TEA!!!!! ☕️😊 (Sorry coffee folks, but just never really got into the stuff)

Cola or ginger ale?

Cola, but I call it Coke. I like ginger ale, but generally only drink it when I am sick.
