Okay, Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Phantom of the Opera has long been something that puts me in a good mood. Great show based on one of my favorite stories with some powerful music. Then I discovered that Nightwish covered the "theme song". Boy did this have me smiling when I first heard it.
Yeah, Marko is no West End tenor but his Phantom comes across as a much more sinister figure than the more refined versions often do. Tarja as Christine is mind-blowing. I almost want to hear a stage version with her.
