'Ghostbusters' (1984)

MP: So when the cat has got your tongue, there's no need for dismay! Just summon up this word, and then you've got a lot to say! But better use it carefully or it could change your life...
B: For example...
MP: Yes?
B: One night I said it to me girl, and now me girl's me wife. (angry wife hits him with a tambourine)
B: Ow! And a lovely thing she is, too.

Hmmmm good one Roland. Not only a a line, but a lyric. Mary Poppins (1964) and Busker.

"Look, I hate purity. Hate goodness. I don't want virtue to exist anywhere. I want everyone corrupt. "
"Them ain't no militia, that's the Army of the Potomac!"

1984 (1984) I love the follow-up line by Julia; "Well, I ought to suit you, then. I'm corrupt to the core." (one of my favorite lines)

Here an easy one, but I love this line too.
"Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine."

Forbidden Planet.. one of my favorites..

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die."

'Blade Runner' (1982) A true Sci-fi classic. It was set in November 2019, that's five years from now. What happened, I want my robots!

from one of my top ten favorite movies: "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"

Dr. Strangelove.. a wacky horrible movie..

"There's no living with a killing. There's no goin' back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand... a brand sticks. There's no goin' back. Now you run on home to your mother and tell her... tell her everything's alright. And there aren't any more guns in the valley."

'1941' (1979) It is a hilarious line when a Japanese soldier is trying to get a large radio into the submarine.

"Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me. Aren't you?"

Sorry the lines I love so much are usually too easy, like this one.

The Graduate....

"The man of my dreams has almost faded now. The one I have created in my mind. The sort of man each woman dreams of, in the deepest and most secret reaches of her heart. I can almost see him now before me. What would I say to him if he were really here? "Forgive me. I have never known this feeling. I have lived without it all my life. Is it any wonder, then, I failed to recognize you? You, who brought it to me for the first time. Is there any way that I can tell you how my life has changed? Any way at all to let you know what sweetness you have given me? There is so much to say. I cannot find the words. Except for these: I love you". Such would I say to him if he were really here."

Somewhere in Time (1980) A wonderful, often overlooked romance. It was said by Jane Seymour. Christopher Reeve was the male lead.

"Say 'hello' to my little friend!"

Duct Tape Forever (2002) OMG!!!! Someone else who knows about Red Green!

I can't believe I'm going to give such an easy clue, but here it is;

"As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again."

Gone with the Wind (1939) A classic Vivien Leigh quote as Scarlet O'Hara

I think the whole quote went: "As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to beat me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again."

Another clue: "Everybody stay exactly where you are! The party's over. Somebody stepped on the cake!"
"Them ain't no militia, that's the Army of the Potomac!"

You guys play tough... Guns of Navarone..

"You can't hardly tell at first, not till they get to the point of slobbering and staggering around. When you see a critter in that fix, you know for sure. But you want to watch for others that ain't that far along. Now, you take a bobcat or a fox. You know they'll run if you give 'em the chance. But when one don't run, or maybe makes fight at you, why, you shoot him and shoot him quick. After he's bitten you, it's too late."

Hint.. I cried for days after this movie..

Strategic Air Command (1955) A real golden oldie. With my hero Jimmy Stewart and America's mom June Allison. Steward is one of the great actors of his era.

Taxi Driver: ...I've been driving this route for 15 years. I've brought 'em out here to get that stuff, and I've drove 'em home after they had it. It changes them... On the way out here, they sit back and enjoy the ride. They talk to me; sometimes we stop and watch the sunsets, and look at the birds flyin'. Sometimes we stop and watch the birds when there ain't no birds. And look at the sunsets when its raining. We have a swell time. And I always get a big tip. But afterwards, oh oh...

VLS: "Afterwards, oh oh"? What do you mean, "afterwards, oh oh"?

Taxi Driver: They crab, crab, crab. They yell at me. Watch the lights. Watch the brakes, Watch the intersections. They scream at me to hurry. They got no faith in me, or my buggy. Yet, it's the same cab, the same driver. and we're going back over the very same road. It's no fun. And no tips... After this he'll be a perfectly normal human being. And you know what stinkers they are!

Harvey (1950) - What a great classic. Love those older movies.

This should be an easy one:

"Yes. And I put Mr. Hoskins in the window seat, because Reverend Harper was coming."

Arsenic and Old Lace.. crazy movie...

"So, now you hate the Swedes. How many outlets for your hate do you have, Helen? We haven't been able to find a new house because of your multiplicity of them. We can't buy near a school because you hate kids. They make noise. And there can't be any Jews or Catholics on the block, either. And, oh, yes, it can't be anywhere near the Polish or Italian sections. And, of course, Negroes have to be avoided at all costs. Now, let's see: No Jews, no Catholics, no Italians, no Poles, no children. No Negroes. Do I have the list right, so far? And now, you've added Swedes. And, oh, yes, you won't use a Chinese laundry because you distrust Orientals. And you think the British are snobbish, the Russians fearful, the French immoral, the Germans brutal, and all Latin Americans lazy. What's your plan? To cut humanity out? Are you anti-people and anti-life? Must you suffocate every natural instinct in our daughter, too? Must you label young love-making as cheap and wanton and indecent? Must you persist in making sex, itself, a filthy word?"

Coraline?

Now one of my favorite movies as a kid.... still a classic..

"My dear, either you were born on a extremely rustic community, where good manners are unknown, or you suffer from a common feminine delusion that the mere fact of being a woman exempts you from the rules of civilized conduct."

Larry that was a hard one for me. 'Laura' (1944)

Rebel, I'm not sure. I thought I heard lines like that on a new DVD my grandkids were watching. I think it might be 'Frozen', but I'm not sure.

Here is an easy one, but it does have a twist.

"Greed, for lack of a better word, is good."

This scene was in the trailer and was edited. It says "Greed is good."
