Some sort of tiny berry that tastes like mint, strawberries and watermelon mixed together. I think that'd be yummy.

Same question.

A politician with scruples, morals and a will to help others.

If you made your own political party, what would it be called? (My favorite was in Great Britain in the 80's called 'Official Monster Raving Loony Party')
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.

It would be called the Dreamcatcher Party..

If you could choose 3 people to remain on earth with you.. who would they be..
Lurker
I would create a being that had only the ability to heal others and itself. Something so benevolent, that the malicious peoples of the world would want to destroy it, but only be able to after that being has done its work and this world back on course.

If you could cross any 3 animals, what would they be and what would the final result be?
Active Ink Slinger
A rat, a giraffe and a human with very dry skin... it's a creature I've created, shush.
It would have... scaley skin, with fur in diamond patterns (don't ask me why), a crooked long neck, calico-colored long silky hair, a rat's face, sharp carnivorous teeth with a pescatarian diet (vegetarian, but they eat fish), red eyes, whiskers... it's style is that of some crazy person: spider web too-large t-shirt, striped and polka dotted stockings, and combat boots. With all of this... it would have a very caring heart.

Ummmm same thing.

Do you consider people with addictive behaviors to be weak?
Forum Facilitator
That is an interesting question. It would highly depend on what was the addiction. Some have a near addiction to coffee, the internet is another, while some rely on alcohol and drugs. I don't see as a sign of weakness. More as a crutch to sustain them through something.

If you could have a super hero power, what would it be?
"Them ain't no militia, that's the Army of the Potomac!"
Lurker
Normally I'd decline a super hero power and just wish for the ability to learn skills quickly...but I think if I HAD to choose a super hero power...I would go with super speed...not just running, but reflexes as well.

People often fall in love with someone's personality, but at the same time, it's true that "No ever falls in live with a personality at first sight"...do you believe that looks really do play a very important part in falling for someone, but without necessarily being shallow?
Advanced Wordsmith
I do, I can be very picky about looks, and tend to friendzone a lot of girls if they don't reach a category six at the least on my scale.

Do you think that's selfish of me?
Lurker
that is not selfish, just picky.

Have you ever seen a blacker black?
Yes. When you stare into the pupil of another's eyes. It's an endless void of mystery and darkness that you can't help but want to shear light upon. Nothing is darker then the unknown that's why so many are afraid of it.

Why do I get all philosophical on these questions?
Lurker
Because, for the love of Bragi, you're a writer! You can't just stop at the surface of the issue, you have to get creative and break it down!

What kind of caffeine-beverage do you prefer?
Lurker
I suspect never. It seems the Fimbulwinter has arrived.

What will you be doing when the end of the world comes?
Forum Facilitator
Sitting with my hand down my pants, answering questions on forums, most likely. Or, you know, stuff with Aria, we'll see.

Do you ever worry that your arse with get flat from being sat upon all day?

Do you ever wonder that if the whole earth was once covered in water what it looked like from space?
Active Ink Slinger
Well, if the Earth was all water, then there wouldn't be nearly as much oxygen in the air as there is today, so the air/atmosphere/whatever would have some sort of tinge to it (green, if I'm to go by the science books and such) so from space, I suppose, it may have looked greenish-blue-ish.

Ummm what's your favorite animal in the whole wide world?

Here's a tricky one.. who created the color mauve?
Lurker
A man named "Sir William Henry Perkin" named it, though I'm sure the color or some variation of the color existed long before then.

You've been drafted as an infantryman in the army. When marching into battle, where do you stand in the group of soldiers? Front, sides, middle, back, what?
Rookie Scribe
You mean swearing i presume. You know i actually do because I think that swearing helps express emotions and kind of really show the way you're thinking. I mean, wars weren't lost to the sound of "Oh, marshmallow." Just putting that out there.

If you could create a utopia, what major problem would you address first (of the world today?)
Active Ink Slinger
There are so many seemly insurmountable problems in the world today, picking one is so hard and it depends where you are. One thing I would do here in America is unnecessary in most of the rest of the industrial societies. Medical care for everyone. I have worked only low paying minimum wage jobs for almost a decade. I have worked with people who have two jobs but can't afford even basic health care. They come to work on the verge of tears because they have a sick child at home and can't go to a doctor until payday, and then to afford even minor care and/or normal medications they must decide between which bills not to pay or try to make due with minimum dietary requirements. Eating two McDonald's $1 burgers a day because that only costs $60 a month is how people get real long term health problems. I know a man who broke his arm (fractured). He couldn't afford to get treatment. His arm was never the same. He wound up losing his job and home. I retired from the military. I receive outstanding medical care (no strings attached) for less than $100 a month for me and my wife. The medication I have to take to stay healthy and not die cost more than that a week, and my wife's medications are even more. If I had to get health care tomorrow to cover my families needs, it would cost me $700-800 a month. (about the same as my rent) EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO GOOD HEALTH CARE BASED UPON NEED AND NOT WEALTH!!! In Scotland I never saw that problem. The only places I have went that had people without access to good health care were third world countries. When I see children that play with my grandkids sick or hurt and unable to go to a doctor I am ashamed. It isn't right. Make any argument you want about cost and responsibility, but there is no rational argument for why a elderly person takes only half of the medication they need because to buy enough to take what they need they would have to go hungry. Then they die before their time. It isn't right.

Should schools be open all year?
You can't get there from here, because when you get there you're still here and here is now there.
Lurker
No. However, I feel they should be open all year for students to use the resources they provide.

I haven't been in a "school" for almost 3 years now--I'm so used to a campus that I don't remember what school was like!

Charge into battle on foot or on horseback?
Active Ink Slinger
On the horseback.

If your friend had backstabbed you, what'd you do?
Lurker
the best thing to do without fight is to comfort them. and ask why? or you just stop talking to them but I don't think you want to do that...

Do you feel that life will get better?
It always gets better.

Do you believe happiness is given or achieved?
Lurker
Achieved. Nothing in this life -if worth something- is ever given. There's always something blocking your path to 'happiness'. The only way you find it is by making it, or looking at silver linings in dark clouds. However small that lining may be.

Do you agree with me?
Forum Facilitator
Sort of.. happiness is an emotion and we are in control of all our emotions.. however that control is influenced by things beyond our control..

Can a true relationship ever be imbalanced?
Lurker
Of course, there's ups and downs in everything in life, even with the relation of your 'soulmate'.

Do you believe in soulmates or are you like me and believe in souls in sync with one another?
