Teaseer for the new Superman is out. I'm not really a big fan of Supes (more a Dark Knight guy) but I'm seeing some positive buzz around it. It's made by James Gunn of Guardian of the Galaxy fame, who is now in charge of DC's cinematic universe. Someone unfamiliar to me named David Corenswet is playing Clark Kent/Superman. He looks the part, at least.

I'll always watch anything, Frankenstein.

That's the Guillermo del Toro one, right? Him doing Frankenstein, or any classic monster, intrigues me. Could be interesting.

I was a bit meh on the Branagh Frankenstein, aka Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, which is the last adaptation that I saw. Like Coppola's "Bram Stoker's" Dracula, it hit many of the right notes but some of the modern interpolations just didn't land as well as the ones in Dracula. Both overstated their fidelity to the original, even if they came closer than many previous adaptations.

It is Guillermo del Toro. There was a television version in the 70s before Branagh's. As a teenager, I loved it. Going through some old DVDs I discovered I have a copy of it. I'm going to give it a rewatch.

Maggie Glynnhall has directed The Bride with Christian Bale. It looks good too.

One of the most interesting adaptations of Dracula I have watched is Netflix's three-episode series.

New Marvel teaser out and, while I have largely given up on the MCU, this looks promising. It seems to be its own thing rather than tied tightly to the rest of the MCU and really looks like a live action Fantastic Four comic. That said, this is the third attempt at doing the FF on screen and the others ... yeah, kinda sucked. Maybe they'll get it right this time, though??
