The race to Tumbuktu
Riding a kangaroo
Wearing high heel shoes
And purple pantaloons

Only women may enter this race
National flags they paint on their face
They will ride at a furious pace
So their country they do not disgrace

The race begins in the UK
Where all the Brits shout Hooray
The morale it brings I have to say
Makes me want to win this day

The gun fires, the race is on
Crowds sing their national anthem songs
Our Aussie steeds are bouncing along
The crowds left behind us and long gone

I race along listening to Muse
I confess my bum has started to bruise
Some at this stage will have to choose
To continue or stop, in which case they loose

But the strongest of us are persistant
Determined and most insistent
We know in this instant
That we can make the distance

Who will win this victory?
And make Kangaroo history
We are all determined as you can see
As I race along I really hope its me.
